Profile: A medium size Australian IT Professional Services company with two offices; one in Brisbane and the second in Sydney. 50% of the company staff travel and are usually on-site at customer sites. The company had an aged Mitel VOIP system that never worked properly. They have a 10 line PRI service in Brisbane, with a 2 line BRI Service in Sydney.

Problem: Icefire Technologies wants to replace the 2 office PBXs and connect them together.

Solution: Icefire Technologies Group installed Druid v3.0 and Asterisk. Reception & the meeting rooms run Polycom SIP phones, with all other users running the eyebeam softphone.

How has Druid been working for you?
DRUID installed like a dream. Asterisk on the other hand with the PRI & BRI card took a bit more effort. The usability of Druid is great for setting up user extensions and the generation of dial plans using the dial plan wizard. Setting up the ZAPTEL PRI with Druid was a help, but the BRI requires CAPI which is not supported in the Druid config.
